Judith Michaels

Judith came to real estate in search of an entrepreneurial challenge.  Now in her 10th year in real estate, she is experienced, skilled, creative, resourceful, knowledgeable about the market and current trends, and committed to her clients’ best interests.

Prior to her work in real estate, Judith earned the MPA in public administration and the PhD in urban affairs and public policy.  She has been an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University, Goucher College, and the Institute for Experiential Education where she taught public administration, politics, public policy, and urban policy.

Judith has also lectured and published on issues related to Senate-confirmed political appointees and federal government management and she served as a writer and a consultant with nonprofit community and foreign aid organizations.

Judith grew up in Pasadena, California, and lived there through college before going to graduate school in Berkeley.  Ordained to the ministry in the Presbyterian Church, USA, she holds the MDiv and DMin degrees.  She has pastored churches in Maryland and Virginia and has been a campus minister at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and a community minister in San Francisco.  She loves her recently acquired beautiful, sleek, black piano and is happily learning to play it.

She has lived in the Palisades in NW DC for 16 years.  After completing a major renovation of her home, she started investing in and renovating condo units, which gave her extensive first-hand experience in the joys and unpredictable stresses of renovation, so she is well able to advise her clients as they think through their home and lifestyle needs.

Judith is a licensed real estate professional in Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland.  She takes her consultant role seriously, facilitating her clients’ thinking as they sort through their goals and needs in buying or selling property and explaining the process of real estate transactions and how current market conditions affect that process.  Judith takes the time to establish a personal relationship with her clients and strives to make each transaction stress-free, successful, and speedy!
