Brian Sink
Brian Sink bought his first house in 1996, on Capitol Hill. He wasn't concerned about appreciation then, or mortgage-interest tax savings, or any of that stuff, and he really didn't even know that much about it. He just knew that in, oh, about 30 years his mortgage would be paid off and he wouldn't be writing checks to a landlord anymore. It sounded like a good way to start thinking about retirement.
Brian is much more savvy than that now, and much more knowledgeable about all areas of real estate. But he remembers that time and enjoys helping his clients understand all facets of real estate so they can make good decisions when buying or selling a home. And when Brian bought that first house — a three-bedroom, one-and-half bath row house across from Eastern Market — he also remembered the first place he rented, a furnished studio apartment. Living in 300 square feet gave him an appreciation of the spaces we call home, and a love of different styles of architecture and interior design. So when he finally decided to give up a long career in journalism, selling real estate seemed like the natural thing to do. And eight years ago, Brian earned his real estate license and set up shop. It was a good time to break into real estate sales, and Brian used an unlimited supply of energy and seven-day work weeks to sell 28 houses his first full year in the business. He has sold manhy more than that now and has maintained a steady business ever since, with a long list of satisfied clients. A native of Indiana, Brian brings a solid work ethic and Midwestern values to a business that works best when it's done with honesty, patience, maximum personal service, concern for clients and a good sense of humor. He has worked hard not only to keep his clients happy, but also to build relationships throughout the industry so his clients have good people to turn to at all times. Brian is a strong reader of market trends, as well as the intangibles of real estate, and he has built a thorough knowledge of the neighborhoods inside the Beltway so his clients know all their options. He is happy to be a part of the DC Living team. Brian is a licensed real estate professional in the Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
