Bill Reuther is a native of Grosse Pointe, Michigan, who after graduating from Hillsdale College with a BA in Accounting, made his way down to the Washington, DC area in 1992 to work as assistant comptroller of a Presidential Campaign. After several years working in the political realm, Bill returned home to obtain his law degree from the University of Detroit School of Law. Upon graduation in 1996, Bill returned to Washington, DC where he worked in the corporate law department of a large international law firm. Bill also worked in the government contract practice group of an accounting firm (PricewaterhouseCoopers) as a cost accountant and attorney with a focus on Federal Acquisition Regulation as it relates to Department of Defense contractors.

In 1997, Bill stumbled upon and purchased his first 3 unit apartment building on 17th Street, NW in Adams Morgan and was bitten by the real estate bug. After that Bill spent his spare time tracking down multi-unit investment opportunities. Looking for an opportunity to transition more fully into the real estate field, Bill joined a fledgling mortgage company in 1999. As its Vice President, Bill was instrumental in growing it into one of the largest mortgage brokerages and lenders in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area, providing home financing services in 24 states and the District of Columbia, with offices in Virginia, Georgia and California. In addition to loan origination process management, Mr. Reuther managed the marketing and financial aspects of the mortgage company.

During the mortgage boom of the first decade of the new century, Bill continued to pursue his hobby of finding real estate investments in Washington, DC. In 2005 Bill procured his real estate license to help facilitate his real estate transactions. After a short while he was asked to help friends and acquaintances with their real estate transactions as well. Soon he found himself with an active real estate practice.

Bill holds real estate licenses in Virginia and Washington, DC and serves both locales equally. Bill has been a resident of Alexandria Virginia for 3 years after having enjoyed many years as a Capitol Hill resident living most recently right behind the Eastern Market on 8th Street, SE. Bill is married to Mary Lacey Reuther and has two children, Frank who is 5 and Emily who is 2. He has two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels named Hattie and Nellie who are like having two more children. Bill enjoys playing his electric guitar which he has had since an early teen, and is currently working on the banjo for a change of pace. Apart from his family and friends, Bill most enjoys all things real estate – from the curb to the front door to the floor joists to the curtains to the pacasandra outside – he loves real estate.

John “Jack” Reid, Esq.

John “Jack” Reid was raised in Central New York and has called the Washington, D.C. area home since 1997. A 1996 graduate of Colgate University, Jack earned his Juris Doctor degree from Catholic University of American, Columbus School of Law in 2000 and an LL.M. in Securities & Financial Regulation from Georgetown University School of Law Center in 2003. Jack’s law practice focuses on real estate, including residential and commercial transactions, leases, and real estate related litigation. During his legal career, Jack has represented financial institutions and investor groups as well as individual buyers and sellers of real estate in the D.C. Metro area since 2003. Justin Nielsen

Justin Nielsen was born in Sydney, Australia and grew up in Copenhagen, Denmark. Providing great service has been in Justin’s blood.

Beginning in Sydney with parents who worked at the top hotel in the city and owned guesthouses to provide new immigrants a home and meals, he made the passion for service his own as a Chef Graduate from a 2 Star Michelin restaurant in Denmark; a United Nations Peacekeeper in Bosnia and Croatia during the 1990’s Balkan War; Chef to the Danish Ambassadors to Madrid, Spain and Washington, D.C.; and Executive Chef for the Ritz-Carlton and Starwood Hotels, National Geographic and prestigious law firms in Washington, D.C.

Nadia Nejaime, Esq.

Nadia Nejaime grew up in the Berkshires in Massachusetts, but now considers Washington, DC home since she has lived in DC over 20 years. Nadia received her undergraduate degree from The American University and her juris doctorate from George Washington University Law School.

Nadia practiced law over 10 years, first as an in-house attorney for a DC-based telecommunications satellite company and then with the leading technology law firm in DC where she held the position of Counsel. Abbie Fosburgh

Ed Lichorat

Ed Lichorat was born and raised in Schenectady, New York, home of General Electric and American Locomotive. He has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Pre-Law from the College of Saint Rose and an MBA from John’s Hopkins University.

After college, Ed joined the federal government and went on to work in information technology, operations, marketing, contracts and finance. The jobs have taken him to North Carolina, Missouri, New York, Maryland, the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia, his current residence.

That varied background, plus his familiarity with relocation procedures, puts him in a great position to assist his clients with their real estate questions.
Away from work, Ed finds enjoyment in cooking and testing recipes for the Washington Post; traveling abroad (and using his photography skills to record the trips); and hitting the gym to pay for his fondness for good restaurants in the area.

David Conforti, Esq.

David Conforti spent most of his life as a suburban New Yorker, but has called Northern Virginia his home since 1997.

David is a graduate of Colgate University and St. John’s University School of Law and is a member of the New York and DC bars. David has been a practicing attorney for the past twenty years, focusing primarily on corporate and real estate matters. As an attorney, David has reviewed and drafted numerous real estate contracts and lease agreements, both commercial and residential. He has also conducted dozens of real estate settlements and served as a like-kind exchange facilitator in more than a hundred transactions. Donna Brannon

Donna Brannon is Property Manager and Sales Professional for DC Living Real Estate, LLC. Prior to joining DC Living, she served as a Human Resources Specialist for over 40 years with the Department of Defense and the Department of the Interior. Sarah Aschenbach

Sarah Aschenbach has over twelve years experience as a licensed real estate agent specializing in both residential and commercial transactions. Sarah is a DC native having attended high school at Stone Ridge Country Day School. She then went on to Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA where she earned a BS is Business Administration and was a member of both the basketball and lacrosse teams.

In addition to her career in real estate, Sarah has a passion for the sport of lacrosse.
